PHP/MySQL Web Programmer

Location : Mumbai, India Job Purpose

Integrate into our development environment to provide ongoing maintenance and development of our web 2.0 website and web applications   

Key Responsibilities include the following

• As our PHP/MySQL developer, your primary responsibility will be the ongoing maintenance and development of our web 2.0 website and web applications
• Work with team to set design direction.
• Compose, edit and maintain internal documentation for application development.
• Participate in product deployments, upgrades and maintenance.
• Design and development of deployment tools for software deployments and upgrades.
• Participate in operations/support activities as appropriate.
• Ensure the quality of delivered code.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 4 years of experience in PHP, MySQL and web technologies
• Strong understanding of Web Server Technology, PHP, MySQL, FTP, and Shell. Additional knowledge of CGI/PERL, XML, Apache and Linux would be an advantage.
• Strong programming knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, Javacript, and PHP.
• Extensive experience testing web applications.
• Experience maintaining high-availability, production web server applications.
• Working knowledge of best practices for code testing (unit & system), quality assurance, code management and migration.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related area from top-tier college preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field required
